Here it is (ST9500325AS 0002BSM1 5VEHXMHB)

What is the problem with the drive? I never see a case in Wyatt where loader is useful.

here is the terminal log:

F3 T>
RW cmd 002F req = 18 F0 9F E5 18 F0 9F E5 18 F0 9F E5 18 F0 9F E5 18 F0 9F E5 00 00 A0 E1
opts = 00000000

RW Err = 84150180

ASCII Diag mode

F3 T>

after it if i issue any command, it gives LED error.

originally drive had head stiction, swap with donor heads, drive spin up comes ready with 0mb and than spin down.

A loader wont help you.

"RW Err = 84150180" - This is usually associated with some read error. As the spindle shuts down the symptoms are consistent with some mechanical error.

there could be some level of surface issues as the original fault was stiction, donor you used could have been incompatible, PCB may not be original, or head change process could have been flawed somehow.

If donor heads work well when returned to donor, then probably it is compatibility between donor and patient. If heads do not work well on returning, then either process of changing heads was bad or there is some surface issues.

Did you try to adjust head map in ROM?

No, I did't tried head map in ROM, pc3k has some problem writing ROM on these drives I guess.

rom corresponds to the correct serial number of the disk, which rule out that PCB is native.

I will return heads to donor to rule out other possibilities.

this is weird.

i turn head back to donor and it works fine.
after changing heads again with same donor, patient started working, i was able to image 60% of sectors and than head crash again.

may be this is useful information for someone.

Probably heads were contaminated and dirty with dust or debris. Removing and replacing them could have been enough to dislodge any contaminants and allow reading again.
