Clearing Encryption from SED - No data recovery necessary

I have several shelves full of ST600MM026 SED drives that were formerly in an encrypted array, and have since been removed. I'd like to repurpose these drives in a different array, but they're all locked. Is there a way to clear the existing encryption or reset the key on these drives using PC3000? I do not need to maintain any data on the drive, only reset them so they are usable once more.

Still looking for input on this. These drives are IBM/Seagate drives. Outside of PC3000, I was using SeaChest and attempted to use the PSID revertSP command to set the drive to factory defaults using the 32-digit PSID on the platter. That doesn't seem to be working either, it attempts to revert the drive but instantly fails.

First of all these drives are not Classic Seagate (ST10) but F3 arch.
You created topic in wrong branch of forum.

So, if you need to use these drives again so what a problem just format them by default Windows tools and and build needed array?

There is no possbility to permanently disable SED, only patch ROM for bypassing SED and get firmware access in case if drive has issues with systemfiles.
