Do sectors read well? What does sector '0' show? Is there MBR there?
Re: Need module 6F - WD6400BEVT-60A0RT0
Now that I have no access, due to my last attempt, I need to revert all this to go further.
But with 1st attemps, sector '0' was readable. Unforunatly I did not save it.
I post another message when I will be able to read it agin.
thanks for following !

Re: Need module 6F - WD6400BEVT-60A0RT0
hi there,
I did another try, with another donnor.
But when I try to read modules after 1st swap, I had "disk dam error"
I previously succeed to read these modules, so I write modules to new donnor, switch off/on, try to suspend : HDD Readiness timeout
I try to write back his own modules to donnor, but drive is not ready...
I think this new donnor is not compatible enough, and again I burn this donnor.
Now when I put on this donnor, after a while it hangs on ERR/ABR with head sound.
What can I do now ?
thanks.

Re: Need module 6F - WD6400BEVT-60A0RT0
Most important is to secure image. For partition, we can worry later when image is done, this then is a logical issue. There could be some data shifts if adaptive modules are not correctly loaded, but again this can be amended later assuming is common system like NTFS. Does it image sectors well?
For these, only first 10 are needed, 5x modules not so important

I'm back on this case, with another donnor.
My guess :
- after several tries on donnor 1, donnor 1 is broken
- donnor 2 was not compatible (recertified)
- donnor 3 is good.
Now, The hotswap works, but does not image sectors forward. I running back and for now it image data.
When I go to explorer, I am able too see partitions (there are 4 of them), I am able to see and backup data on 3 of them, but the one woth the datas is the one I can't read.
To be continued after inmaging is done.
Copying ok from end to 684 699 646 (on 1 250 263 722 so half)
since, err/unc appears at each sector...

case closed, thanks to AJ2008.
MFT for root directory is not readable, so files were found in Lost&Find folder.
Thanks, AJ !
