IT STARTS CLICKING , I CHANGED THE HEAD WITH SIMILAR ONE , NOW IT IS DETECTED ,
I TRIED TO SEARCH FOR NTFS STRUCTURE , BUT WHEN IT REACHES TO LBA NUMBER 45,000,000 , IT STARTS CLICKING
AND TURNED OFF , AFTER I TURNED IT UP , IT STARTS CLICKING AGAIN .

NOW WHAT SHOULD I DO ?
SHOULD I CHANGE THE HEAD AGAIN ?
AFTER THAT WHAT SHOULD I DO ?

THANKS ALOT FOR YOUR SOONEST REPLY

You can set jumper to safe mode and start Maxtor Auto Recovery
if the drive start and can access to the user data start the DE and build head map and try to image the drive head by head

To build head map after Autorecovery success keep the maxtor utility open and start DE
in New Task create window select "Make data copy"
after De start go to service menu > buliding heads map
after building the map goto task options > heads map and select the head you want to imageing

You can not know where the needed data stored
So you should image all heads
But this method help if there is defect head or there are bad sectors in a zone in a platters

This hard drive belongs to Calypso family and this family can have autorecovery method launched.
Please check this topic to find out how to proceed with "Autorecovery" viewtopic.php?f=31&t=7017
