I'm working with a 500 MB Grizzly drive with at least one bad head.

I can start it in safe mode and get passport and access to SA, using its own loader.

I can make a heads map with DE, but I can't access customer LBAs on any head.

This drive is different from other Maxtors. I can't rebuild translator, even on a good donor, without getting an error. There is no 1B P-List module, no 18 AD_PDL, and no RZTBL. It looks like the H-Lists are the key here (module 33).

This is not a candidate for hot swap - it still does not access LBAs.

Does anyone know an approach to read the data from the good heads before I attempt a hot swap?
