Hello, everyone!
MODEL : MAXTOR ROMULUS DSP 4D040H2
ROM CS : 8FC0
CODE : K,G,D,B
PCB : B9FDA
I am analyzing a damaged drive, whose RCT (ID 21) Module is filled with
all x'00'.
When cloning a damaged drive onto a normal drive, half of the sectors
are detected as bad.
I want to know how to rebuild RCT module or its structure.
Please share your experience.
Thanks in advance!

Not possible to rebuild RCT module structure. You may use this module from another drive.
Also utility has function "Init RCT". If this function execeted "from SA" work correctly that means all fine with this module.
I guess this drive hasn't any problem with RCT module because it starts by itself, overwise if this module in both copies will filled 00 drive never starts and give you access to any user sector!
Many defect sectors usually appear because of fail writing while HDD used in users computer.
