Maxtor calypso turned to N40P firmware..help..

Hello,

I do have a problem with maxtor calypso. I have accidentally click something and cant remember what it is...

And suddenly the firmware changes to N40P firmware..How i am going to change it back to Calypso.. i have try everything and it wont change to Calypso..

Here the attached image.. please help me

this is the situation when the drive has problems with its Service area.
you should set the jumpers of this drive to real "Safe mode" and try to start up the drive with loader

then try to perform SA Structure test and tell me what modules were damaged

I have tried another loader that had been given to you... but fail..

I don't know what's wrong or maybe i have put wrong settings...

Ah, got it!

Your drive is downsized drive with modified ROM for SA access.
You have suddenly overwrote the ROM on the board, this is why the MCU's built in ROM (N40P) is the active.
You should try to write in the correct ROM content again, or replace the ROM, or replace the pcb to continue....
