6Y080L0 Dead PCB with external ROM

Maxtor DiamondMax Plus9 80GB with external ROM
Model: 6Y080L0
PCB: CALYPSO III 301599100
Main Chip: C8-C1 040111300

My Problem is, i have no PCB from 6YL080L0 with ext.ROM and i can not find someone.
Is it possible to try a 6Y120L0 PCB with same main Chip ??

I desoldered the Patient ROM-Chip and read out the Data. It looks fine.

The ROM contains no specific or unique data, you do not need to preserve it.

At the PCB there is a code, should look like F4FYA, try to match this code as close as you can. PCB determines whether internal or external ROM is used, it should not affect operational ability of your drive

This Case is solved. PCB + HEADS (preamp) was damaged.
100% of customers Data are back.

The Customers PCB is complete damaged, and with other PCBs, there was smooth knocking Sound.
So i was not sure, is there something wrong with Donor PCB or anything else.
