Using the Adapter from Fujitsu can not save the ROM

Hi to all,
i am try to use the adapter from Fujitsu to save the resources from my stock of hitachi i have try the SATA disk, but i can not save it.
Picture how is connected: ( SATA)
in the PATA connection i use the PC-2 Adapter and i also have the same problem, can not save the ROM.
