FUJITSU MHTxxxxAT PROBLEM - pcb is burned

Postby ACE_Admin » 17.09.07, 12:49

To make a PCB Swap for this drive you have to take any MHTxxxxAT, where x means any number.

ROM from Fujitsu MHT doesn't contain any adaptives or other unique
information. That is why PCB from any Fujitsu MHTxxxxAT with version
0022 will be fully compatible. If you found good MHT with other
version of ROM you have to rewriting it in Kernel mode.

Rom is marked with - 1

MHT utility supports ROM reading and writting?

Another question about this drives, head map is initialized from rom?

For pcb swap, you say that we only need to match last four digits (0022 for example)?

Thanks.

At all Fujutsu drives head map is in module HS.

Hello,

I have MHV2120BH drive with burned PCBA.
I can't unsolder the FW on the board.

How can I do for rebuilt compatible PCBA ?

FW on Customer PCBA : CB1C
FW on Spare drive : CB9B

Thanks

Misa
