Dear Gurus and friends ,
I have received one toshiba Model : TOSHIBA MQ01ACF050 Firmware : AVF02D0L Capacity : 500 GB (976 773 168)
.Drive won't spin only once head sounds to start .Drive has been part of dell laptop.Drive has password.I tried donor pcb on same drive its spins and heads area also move.When i insert this patient pcb on DOnor drive it spins and heads are moved so there is no problem with short or sticktion heads.I think its fw issue.I can read all cp from donor under family MQ01ABF 2.5" (SATA).When drive starts it gives no led no spin than soft reset than gives id with capecity still no spin.As this family not supported by pc3k Ver 6.5.2 When i tried to read pass info from patient no password found. Pls help me for this .I have donor working drive too.Patients log is like this :

datasolution, the password is on surface in Toshiba drives. if heads can't read or the reading is weak, the password information can not be read and we get password error like in this case.
Try new heads, it could help to solve password and G-List issues and get the data access.
