Toshiba MQ01ABD100 PCB Swap

Hi

I got this drive wich I belive have bad PCB (It can't spin up),
What to check for PCB Swap? Need to swap ROM, right?
The PCB is a G003138A.

Hi,
Yes It's true. You need find donor pcb (better find whole working correctly HDD) => resoldering ROM, it's probably IC602 and try running donor hdd.
Attention: ROM in Toshiba is unique. When the ROM is damage - You can't recover data.
When the pcb is corrett You should receive something via terminal.
If HDD doesn't want spin up: few times in Toshiba I saw that the head's arm stuck between Ramp and Platters and blocked platters.
Maybe stiction heads on platters - it could be resason why platters will don't spin.
Do You opened cover and saw heads?
