Hi @ all,

i have the Toshiba MK5075GSX whit GT001U Rom and after i boot the disk i see this:

Techno On............................... : Device Error Detected 51/04 (ABR)

Device Error Detected 51/04 (ABR)

What can i do? I can't write a new copy of the rom because it will send me only ABR Error...

Super ON is rejected so you can't do a thing with the drive.

Either it's "locked" with some sort of special firmware that does reject the standard SUPER ON or the PCB is damaged ...

Does the drive spin up at all ? Can't you access a single LBA ? Does the drive ID at least ?

So i can't see anything....
The HDD is power on and the motor is working but the head isen't starting...

Now i have change the PCB and it is the same problem....
Head swap?
