Hi,

Im having trouble with a Tosbiba hard drive that is shows a RAW partition in windows with a drive letter assigned. I can read the ROM without a problem but gives errors when trying to read the service area. I haven't done PC-3000 repair work in a while so need some help. Attached photo of the drive.

Toshiba stores very little in the service area. Only SMART and G-List as far as I know are really stored there. Everything else is in the CP's on the PCB. Are you able to read the CPs? Have you tried setting up a software translator in DE?

Yes, correct.
Toshiba drives have G-list, P-list and SMART on the surface.
All other CPs (modules) are inside the ROM.
