Create heads Map

Postby peter.best » 24.03.22, 10:04

Hello all you experts. Help please?

Trying to create heads map. When I attempt to “Building Head Map” I see only “Run PC-3000 Utility"
In the Parameters window, as described in the manual at 4.6.1.9, when I select the Heads Map tab I see an option “Use Heads Map”, not Create Map. When I choose that I see “You must build the heads map!”
I am unable to build the heads map.

I wait for your wisdom.

Hi Peter.Best
You need to detect the drive in the utility first, if you're in Data Extractor, in the menu Windows -> Utility -, from the Utility window select Utilities -> Utility Autodetect, When the drive is detected then go to Utility -> Run Utility. You will see a new Window then Click on Autodetect then Click on Utility Start, then you can go back to Data Extractor from the Windows menu and retry building heads.

Hope this helps

Thank you RevoccoTT. When I do these steps and choose Autodetect I see "Techno key error: unexpected error: Port WRITE PROTECTED".
Should I change this? and how, please?

Hi Peter,
I don't know what that error means you should contact Acelab Technical Support, you can then let us know how it was resolved after.
