Recovery of HFS data

Hi guys

I had a case where I imaged a drive in HFS (it has some bad sectors, but nothing too big...).
On DE, I tried to save the files (I could see all files and folders) to a new HDD, but I couldn't open one single file (all seem corrupted).

As the image was done successfully, I then got a Macbook laptop (not the one from the client), connected the HDD by USB and I could open all files, and copy them to a new HDD.

Why couldn't DE do that directly?? A bug? A feature??

Thanks

Do you work with HFS or HFS+ file system?

I believe it was a HFS+.
I think I still have the drive imaged with me. If yes, I will get back here.
