Image Data Area Only with DE

I guys is it possible to image the data area only of a hard drive with bad sectors using DE?

if its possible can someone point in the right direction

You need to image $Bitmap.

In Explorer view, right click on the filesystem (i.e NTFS), then select 'Used Sectors from $Bitmap', then image the subsequent chains.

For alternate file systems the option may be slightly different, but should always make reference to used sectors
