Hi,

I'm not sure, but why don't you use regular SATA drives for imaging?

I see this error (and similar) in Win7 when using destination disk with valid MBR.

If I use erased disk as destination I never see message.

I assume it is related to windows 7 locking access to partitioned volumes, but Im not sure

Did you enable the "modify MBR" checkbox when picking the destination drive? I believe that will make it so Windows won't try to access the drive.
