Data Extractor hang when using the "read commad" , do not use hardware retries.

I Have cases when i try to read with this option the DE star reading ok, " green" but if the disk have a problem or i need to STOP the reading, DE still HANG and i can not do nothing i have to kill the JOB in task manager.


Anyone had seen this in DE.

I have seen similar case with SATA drives when using alternative SATA adaptors, now I try use only PC {ATA-SATA adaptors from ACE.

Is problem the same with 'use hardware retries' option?
