F3 drive was repaired and had full access to HFS file system. After imaging for a several hours, drive randomly stopped.
Tasks was closed for the night and after restarting the task later the following day the file system and folder structure is gone.
All i get now is: 1[EE] EFI GPT and it doesnt expand.
Drive is still functional with full sector access.
Any idea why or how I may have lost the file structure? How can it be prevented in the future other than not closing a task?
Log shows:
Task parameters saving: 8/31/2022 1:56:51 PM
(LBA + Count - 1) <0!partition_entry_array not read
Init Primary EFI_GPT failed
EFI_GPT_Header valid
Try [EFI_GPT_Header.alternate_lba]

Have you mapped the catalog file again and then scanned it?
That should rebuild it for you.

That was my first thought also but the error in the log is about GPT, so I don't think the PC3K sees that it's a HFS+ file system so it won't give me that 'ScanCatalog' option.
All I get in the directory structure now is :
+0-PC3000 SATA 1 (PhysicalSector = 4096)
1[EE] EFI GPT
I've also tried a Quick 'disk analysis' and 'search FS structures'.

Have you tried changing sector size from 4096 to 512?
Re: Drive was had full file system witll folder structure, today its gone.
lol, I literally thought of that just before you suggested it but I hesitated to try it for some reason.
That solved it d_d_recovery! ....and no scan catalog needed.
Thanks so much for your suggestion and your prompt reply!

Why would it need to be handled as 512 now anyway? Drive has AF label on it and I didnt have to set it to 512 yesterday.
Perhaps it set it to 512 automatically yesterday?

Re: Drive was had full file system witll folder structure, today its gone.
Right click on PC3000 SATAX in the folder tree.
Its near the bottom of the menu.
Depending on your version of PC3K it may be slightly different.
