Attempting to remove file, Crowd Strike

Postby LMDRO » 25.07.24, 07:45

I have a machine that was affected by the crowdstrike issue and it has been unable to boot into recovery with the power cycle trick. Using the data extractor can I "delete" the file somehow? It is bitlocker encrypted, and while I have the key, working within the an unlocked bitlocker means I am working in a virtual environment correct? I'm considering going to the first sector of the offending file and zeroing out the sector, but i'm not sure if the changes are actually happening due to me being in DE's virtual partition for bitlocker?

Is there a better way to "Delete" the file or making it unusable to fix the machine from hanging up?
