I need my files saved out of the .bin files! Topic is solved

I imaged the files I needed from the source drive to many Ace ".bin" files.
The source drive is now dead (scratches) and will not ID anymore.
I can't start the task from the PC3K to 'save' my actual files out from the '.bin' files.

How can I get my files out of the bin files??

You just need to re-open the task in Data Extractor and check the "work with the data copy" box when you open it.

If you deleted the .prm file you can also open the .bak (backup) file in Data Extractor. If you've completely lost the task and just have the .bin files now, you'll have to stitch the binary files together in order into one and then you can mount/scan it with other software like R-Studio.

If the image was complete you can simply concatenate the image files to a larger monolithic image file (in the event task files is corrupt and task will not open). You can do this from command line, but probably there is some software tool you can find that will do this for you.

You can try to create new task with .prm and .bak files. Then transfer these system files in folder with old task.
