Error Run PC-3000 Utility in DE

I am trying to run DE with Active Utility Actions option in Task Initialization.

The error message comes up: Error! Run PC-3000 Utility! Continue?

If I click OK, there is no option to run utility actions (e.g. upload loader for ST drive). If I click cancel the task does not start.

I need to upload loader for a ST drive when starting DE task (as per instructions on another post) but I can not do that because of this error.

Any help/advice much appreciated.

Do you have the HDD open within the utility before you start DE task?

Thank you, problem solved.

If anybody else has the same problem, you should have HDD open and active in PC3000 utility and go to Utility Selection in the menu to start DE. Starting DE from the initial utility window without HDD opened and active will give you the error message as I described.
