Hello,

I am trying to recover the data from a Samsung Bar USB. I know I need to read the NAND content directly from this drive using the monolith layout. (Hopefully no CPU Encryption)

Can anyone please let me know the best method to remove the coating as I would want to try my best not to damage the NAND

Thank you

So without any experience you want to recover data from this device?
Remove USB connector with soldering iron. Than clean and dry it. Remove coating with fiberglass pen. But i guess that you don't have a pinout for those devices anyway.
