PC3000 SAS, SCSI drive and power control

Hi.
Any idea how to work with SCSI drive which is freeze a lot and only power restart is helping to continue imaging? It is so sad that PC3000 SAS doesn't allow to use power control on SCSI drives. Look like it is time to search and buy old PC3000 for SCSI.
