Hi guys,
Since some time (over a year) we have a problem when entering the utility, especially with Seagate and WD.
The drive starts, id's and then, when we enter the utility, windows blocks for about 2 minutes.
I believe this is due to the fact it scans all the profiles that excist to see if it finds back this drive.
Is this possible ?
All our profiles are on a networkshare and take over 1.4 TB of space.
Is there a solution to this ?
In some cases the drive got damaged in these two minutes because we had no control any more.

Utility takes over 2 min to open

I'm pretty sure you've already identified your problem in this statement. For that many collected resources, perhaps you should move to a database, or have your PC-3000 profile folder be a local one without so much in it, and then just go to the big store when you need to look for a specific resource. That's what I do.

There is also an option in the settings that says "only last 100 profiles" or so, don't have the sw here to verify, but not sure what it does. Does it delete the older profiles or not ?
This option could also help if it just scans the last 100 profiles.
