Hi Ace moderators,

I´d like to ask you to present the following suggestion to Data Extractor developers:

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Add feature to auto disable HEAD(s) in data extractor uppon a number of errors.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Condition1 = Head map was executed
Condition2 = If Head X has more than YYYYYYYY bad sectors than disable Head X

Where disable mean skip the head in data clone

Thank you,
-BR-

I think a feature to skip head on read error, like DDI 4 has, would actually be better. That way you can feel safer letting a job image while you're not monitoring it because it won't hammer away on a bad area (or bad head) if it suddenly arises during imaging.

It's been a feature a few of us have been requesting for awhile now.
