DE Hanging

Postby d_d_recovery » 20.05.19, 20:03

Anyone else having issues with DE hanging, but the utility still seems live?
I have just downloaded the very latest version in the hope it might have been resolved but still the same.

What resolution is your monitor? Perhaps this sounds like a silly question, but I've noticed that I can crash a DE window just by making it full screen on a 4K TV that I've got connected which I use for monitoring running tasks. As long as I don't go full screen with it and only have it in one corner or on half the screen it's fine. But going full screen higher than 1080 resolution seems to make it unstable.

Interesting. I am just using basic monitors at 1920 x 1080, nothing fancy. But both my PC-3000's seem to suffer from the same issue. One is on W7 and one on W10.

I just had a lockup in DE after building a map of selected files, after choosing to have it automatically do the 512b-4k conversion, and I've never had a lockup there before, but it's working now after force-closing DE and re-opening the project. Time will tell if it was a fluke or not.
