PC-3000 is compatible with Windows 10  Topic is solved

ACE Lab has successfully conducted the OS Windows 10 compatibility tests for the PC-3000.
All the PC-3000 products with the latest software versions can be installed on the Windows 10 OS platform.
For all the PC-3000 products, the digital signatures of executable files have been added:
for the PC-3000 kernel
for the installation file
The files are signed by Verisign ACE Lab certificate.
When each of the executable files is launched on the OS Windows 7, 8, and 10, the operation system checks for availability and validity of the digital signature. If the signature is valid, then administrative access is requested to the software published by “ACE Scientific Production Enterprise Limited”.
If the software publisher is set as “unknown publisher” it means that the executable file was modified or damaged.
Note: Downloading executable files from the Internet without the digital signature is quite difficult on the OS Windows.

Good to know this. I know a few guys already running it, and I've been thinking of upgrading my Express station too. I've just been a bit hesitant as rolling back is sure to be a total nightmare.

Same here.
Both PC3K and Flash are working fine on Windows 10 64bit.

I've been running on Windows 10 for one of my four PC3K systems for a couple months and will likely upgrade the rest before too long.

Why would you want to run windows 10 over 7?
I don't see a benefit other than maybe faster boot time.

I just did my upgrade this afternoon and can confirm all seems to be working well.

I actually like Win 10 (once you convert coretana to use google instead of Bing). I like that the start menu and task bar are now available on each display. I also find that drives become available much faster when you hot connect them over windows 7, and it's less prone to crashing out when you do hot swap drives (which happens pretty often here).

Today I updated Windows 10 Pro x64 from version 1511 to version 1607 (feature update for windows 10). Now I have problem with PC3000 UDMA-E controller - it is not recognized by OS. I tried update the drivers but without results - "Windows encountered a problem installing the driver software for your device". If there is no solution of Acelab then I will need go back to version 1511 :shockable:
P.S. I have a PC3000 UDMA Express, version 5.8.14.

The new information (23.09.2016).
We upgraded our PC3000-E from ver. 5.8 to ver. 6.1, and also Windows 10 ver. 1511 to ver. 1607. All works fine

Good to know that. I'm at version 1511, I guess I'll stick with it for a bit and not do any more updates until it's resolved. Anyone else had this issue?

5.8.14 software version is to old..
Win 10 is officially compatible with PC-3000 software since 6.1 utility version (for UDMA-E, Express, Portable) and 7.0.4 (for Flash)

You can work with PC-3000 Flash and Win 10 starting from Flash 7.0.1, but stable driver and full optimization appear only in 7.0.3 - 7.0.4 versions
