Your answer is very important to us.
ACE Laboratory is holding an opinion poll among PC-3000 users to find out the necessity of some old components included into PC-3000 kit.
They are intended to work with very old HDD.

How often do you use these PC-3000 components: probes for unlock Hitachi password, PC-QUANTUM adapter, PC-MX SAFE adapter and PC-Toshiba adapter.

Very rare I need to use PC-Quantum, PC MX-Safe maybe a few times per year. PC-Toshiba I use regular.

The Poll is too broad. You may need to ask the poll for each adapter. The only one that we would use frequently now is the Toshiba adapter if we had one. But such an adapter wasn't included in my kits when I bought PC3K, so I use jumper wires which are more flexible anyway.

I use a lot of PC-Toshiba and Hitachi drive , so yes it be nice for you to keep it up to date with the old drives , they is some few old drives that is in need to repair . and have the old tools still can be helpful to help odd custerm. andrew

I think the purpose of the poll is not clear. Some people seem to think it is how often do you use PC3000 when it is about the specific older adapters ... Maxtor SATA/Safemode adapter, Quantum Terminal Adapter, Toshiba CFII adapter ??? At least that's whay I thought the poll was for

I think it is important to have all parts for all drives. You never know when the tools will be necessary

The PC-Toshiba adapter is indeed the one that I use the most from that list of "older" PC-3000 components.

At any rate I think that they should still be all included in newer releases of PC3000 as we never know when we will come across an older drive.
