Hi,
I have a SanDisk SSD Plus with the SM2246XT controller. The drive was not being seen in Windows so was escalated to me.
The drive goes to DRD + DSC straight away, but when starting either the Universal Utility or the SanDisk SM2246XT utility there is no HDD ID read. Model, Serial, and FW are blank and capacity comes back as '0.5MB (!)'.
SanDisk utility has 'no passport loaded' and SSD Status are 'No' or 'Unknown'.
Any suggestions to try?

Hello. You need to switch your drive in SAFE MODE. You can use the same recommendations as for Crucial drive based on SM2246EN.
Difference will be only in Utility - you need to set up Sandisk SM Utility.

That's might be a trouble, because sometimes parts of very important SA structures might be damaged in SSD due the NAND wearing. Anyway, try to build translator, and then - create a new task in DE based on PC-3000 Utility (NOT ON SATA CHANNEL!). Then - make a sector by sector copy, lets see how it will be gone.
