first of all, the heads were damaged. then, i changed them and the model, the firmware and the serial number shown correctly. but the capacity shows 4 gb instead of 2TB.
I tried to load a loader from a donor but the operation is failed.
Is there a translator problem?

Re: Seagate ST2000DM001 wrong capacity
Don't even think about trying anything with the translator (not that it'd work anyway, the drive won't accept the command in its current state)
Was the drive clicking and spinning down with the original heads? What did it show in the terminal on startup with the original heads?
At this point, with the new heads the drive does appear to load most the firmware, but it's trying to do a media cache reconstruction which is causing it to fail. You'll need to disable the media cache and other functions in system file 93. That may require shorting the read channel as PC3K is suggesting if the drive is really badly stuck busy. However, it requires very precise timing of when you short it. Takes a lot of practice to get it right and know when you got it.
