VSC to re-set S.M.A.R.T. for IBM based drives most likely will work on your drive.
Super S.M.A.R.T. ON + CLEAR S.M.A.R.T. + SUPER S.M.A.R.T. OFF.
It will not solve anything and only a few S.M.A.R.T. attributes will be cleared ....

IBM - Super S.M.A.R.T. ON (1/3)=F8 F6 B9 4F C2 A0 B0 00 00
IBM - Clear S.M.A.R.T. (2/3)=FE 00 00 4F C2 A2 B0 00 00
IBM - Super S.M.A.R.T. OFF (3/3)=F8 00 00 4F C2 A0 B0 00 00
Try.

Hi Takanashi,
Yes some of the attribute have reset to 0.
Unfortunately, the 'power on hour' no able to reset. ...
We only need power on hour to be reset to zero.
any idea?
Thank you.

I would like to bring the thread up again.
We are currently buying a lot of 8TB/10TB/12TB/14TB drives from HGST or those tagged on Western Digital.
Recertified drives have recently been offered to us.
But these are not drives that have been remanufactured directly by the manufacturer,
but rather drives that have subsequently undergone a SMART reset.
Is there any news here about the SMART reset?
@Acelab when will newer generation drives be supported?
The first new generation helium drives appeared in 2013.
