Hi to all,
I just try to do standard reinitialize of NAND chip to actualize (refresh) the data and also check if the NAND is ok. I get the output that everything passes ok:
F3 T>/OI
ALF Parametric Tables Preserved
Flash was erased and ALF Tables have successfully been initialized
F3 O>
But after this PCB just didn't spin the drive anymore and stay busy without any terminal response. It's not the first time that I use this command, but I didn't have any similar problem before. Differences are only that I use a handmade serial terminal because every port on PC3000 is busy at the moment, but I can see how that can be a cause.
I didn't mind about the PCB, I have spare in the lab, but I just interest what can be the cause of this and if there is any solution to get back the PCB to live.

Please try to explain step by step what you did. Maybe i can help.
Re: SSHD ST500LM000 NAND initialization kill the PCB
If I can remember correctly (It's been a while since then). Standard DR case, hdd had numerous bad sectors but he initial properly. Do necessary backup of drive and try cloning procedure which he stuck after 15% or didn't started at all. I suspect the PCB may have some problem to, so I try to change it with my donor (previously swap roms) and try to reinitialize of NAND chip with F3 T>/OI
After power off the drive he isn't spinning anymore and stay busy without any terminal response.
