I have an old Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 in for recovery. Although the drive is SATA the jumper block resembles the the older PATA style (two rows of pins) rather than the newer single row.
Brand: Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9
Type: 6Y160M004725L
Capacity: 160GB SATA / 150
Chipset: CALYPSO
Q: Which pins should I use on the jumper block next to the SATA connector for the serial port RX/TX?
Q: Is there an existing adapter for this drive?
Thanks,
DiamondMax Plus 9

Re: DiamondMax Plus 9
Look in the manual toward the end.
Re: DiamondMax Plus 9
Thanks, I did look but didn't see a reference in the version of the manual I have to Maxtor, only to seagate with two types of adapter. If I knew which pins I could check with my logic analyser or a simple serial connection.
