The drive isn't loading the translator. Try what's suggested in this blog post on Ace website: http://blog.acelab.eu.com/pc-3000-h ... error.html

Check for NRG, so long as it's empty try regenerating the translator. If that fails, might be time to stick a fork in it 
Also, even before that, you might give a try to reading all the critical modules through terminal using single sector read. You may find that between the two copies you'll get it all read and can assemble a complete system file that you can write back and restore it.

yes, pay attention to following critical sys files: Translator, NRGlist, Plist. Need to create a backup of them through terminal
