Kingston SD 32Gb on PS8210-0

Postby Marek » 05.02.16, 22:31

Hello

I have a SD Card with PS8210-0 controler (Xor ID : 1585 in Flash)

I Read The dump (one chip witch two dumps)

- I have found ECC
- Correct error via ECC
- create a submap via invalid sectors
- i rereaded sectors success
- implemented xor and doing a block rotation
- in raw recovery i found many MOV files but corrupt

Please any advice?

Best Regards

Hello Marek! Right now Image Building of PS8210 is very complicated - translation of blocks is not simple. Anyway, if you want, we can check your case in ticket system. Just create a new one - and I will check it.

At this moment case not solvable. We have XOR but special algorythm for block rotation PS8210 is not working with MLC chips (right now - only TLC are supported). Without correct block rotation algorythm, image building will not provide good result.
