ST1000DM003 no respond to Crtl+Z

Hello everybody,
I have a problem with some HDD that do not respond to the terminal command and when you hit Ctrl + Z they do not show "F3 T" , for example I have one "ST1000DM003 ROHS" that it has Busy Problem and when you enter Ctrl + Z in Terminal mode it show " 9 ".
1- what can I do for some HDD that do not respond to Ctrl+Z?
2- what can I do for new HDD like above (ROHS) or LP or green Seagate?

Hi thank you for your respond. yes I did it ,but not swap PCB nor Short pin make sence on those HDD. I do not know why.

I have too many HDDs (ST1000DL002 and STDM002) with same problem.

I had a similar situation with a 3TB seagate grenada. CTRL Z gave me a 9. It ended up being a problem with terminal adapter. My terminal is version 1 , newer PC USB TERMINAL 2 worked with it fine.

Seems you heard about some tricks and try to apply them without having an idea how it works and in what circumstances it can be used.
Drive doesn't work? Ah, let's just short some points. Still does not work? Let's regenerate the translator... (do we know what it is? No. But who cares...)
