Can I Remove head 0?

Hi
A WD2000jb , it has head 0,2,3,4,5

I found the head 0,3 is bad for use Head Test

Can i Remoe head 0,3 by use [test]-[Remove head] function?

No, but depending what model it is you can maybe 'pair' the heads in RAM to replace bad head with functional head.

Other option would be to attempt HotSwap

I has try use [test]-[Remove head] function to repair a WD5000BEVT
I remove head 2 and Now wd5000bevt is show wd3600bevt

So If I want to repair harddisk and not to recover data

Can I remove head 0?
Because I know head 0 is important for harddisk.
