ZEUS TURN OFF HEADS

Hi to all,

i am try to disable some heads 2 3 with the new option.

what i am doing is this

1 - power disk
2 - it clicks 3 times them stop
3 - enter utility ( kernel mode) dont have any jumper in the disk

Techno mode key

ROM:

ROM Data size........................... : 256 Kb
ROM version............................. : 07.1PE
ROM generation.......................... : 07.1PE
Link table version...................... : 02.46.
Heads configuration..................... : by map
Heads number............................ : 8
Heads number in use..................... : 8
Switched off heads...................... : No
Head map................................ : 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7

Firmware version........................ : 071P?



4 - go to the menu to to RAM HEAD MAP EDITING

but appear this : 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

all the heads are 0, but in ACE POST, it should appear head 0 1 2 3 4 5 6 7


5 - i give enter

6 - make a soft reset , but the disk CLIK again 3 times ?





Anyone have made this work, i have head 1 and head 3 BAD.

Did you see the drive ID with blank S/N, Model and FW ?
