Saving LDR from seagate

Postby manel » 13.02.09, 13:19

Hi,

Seagate: ST3300622AS P/N: 9BD144-303 FIRM: 3.AAE Site Code: WU

When Trying to SAVE LDR it's getting an error and stop savings. Perhaps the question I'm going to do it's to kill myself by ignorant  , but I should do...

It's possible to Save LDR from other disk identical and load on memory with data extractor to access data? PC3000 detects firmware and other values but not the family also the capacity etc. I could paste the log from Saving LDR.

Perhaps I could by-pass the error telling the PC3000 not to save this part? It's necessary to work with data Extractor?

Try to create a task in DE and clone the drive. If the drive will clone you can go ahead and get your data off the drive. If not then you will need to try and fix the problem with the loader
Choose only make a data copy then copy drive to another drive and see what happens

it is problem with Overlay failed to load....
sometime it is PCB problem .. try to clean the PCB..
if still not help,... change Baud rate to 9600.. sometime it can read overlay with that baud rate....
