Hello friends,
This is the second time I've received a Seagate ST2000DM005 drive in which the client claims there was a lot of data and the hard drive simply stopped operating. When I investigated, it appears to be a wiped hard drive. Given that this is an SMR drive, does anyone know what the most likely scenario is for what happened to it? Valid MBR existed and everything was zero.
Is there any chance to recover data from this drive?

I cleared MCMT table using the U10 command. Repowered, still all zero.
