i have a toshiba mk6465gsx with upper surface visible scratch and the others three surface in good condition, i would try cut head to avoid further residue, do you have any tips to tell me how to properly cut a head?

Hello.

Upper head is Head0 on Toshiba drives.
This head reads defect lists and SMART from the surface.
If you cut it then drive won't start anymore.
